The WFE has published its annual IOMA Derivatives Report, which shows that overall derivatives contracts traded in 2018 exceeded 30 billion for the first time since the WFE started publishing the report in 2005. The report was collated from an annual WFE survey of the derivatives markets operated by its members, affiliatesand other exchanges that voluntarily submit data for this survey. Forty-eight exchanges responded to this year’s survey. The report covers the period from January to December 2018.
