The World Federation of Exchanges welcomes the opportunity to respond to IOSCO’s consultation on Voluntary Carbon Markets. In general, the WFE is satisfied with IOSCO’s proposed principles and good practices as IOSCO have attempted to address previous feedback shared by the WFE around VCMs. However, WFE have also pointed out some areas where the roles that exchanges can play can be emphasised by IOSCO.
