Deutsche Börse launches new brand architecture for global IT offering

Deutsche Börse Group has launched a new brand architecture for its global IT offering. The "7 Market Technology" series branding scheme supports the Group's integrated business model and underscores the strategic IT objective to build and operate premium, innovative infrastructure.

NASDAQ OMX to deliver technology to Iraq Stock Exchange and Bahrain Bourse

The NASDAQ OMX Group has entered into an agreement with the Iraq Stock Exchange to upgrade its current trading platform. The Iraq Stock Exchange will replace its existing NASDAQ OMX platform (Horizon) with one powered by the X-stream technology. The upgrade is expected to be rolled out by mid-year 2014. At the same time, NASDAQ OMX Group has entered into an agreement with Bahrain Bourse to upgrade its current Horizon trading platform with the X-stream technology. Additionally, Bahrain Bourse has reconfirmed its commitment to NASDAQ OMX's post-trade solution. The upgrade is estimated to be rolled out by late 2014.

Taiwan Stock Exchange plans new data center

On 10 June 2013, the Taiwan Stock Exchange announced its decision to build a new data center expected to be operational in December 2015.

TMX Atrium upgrades North American and European infrastructure

TMX Atrium, a TMX subsidiary and provider of infrastructure solutions for the financial community, completed a significant upgrade to its North American infrastructure. It now offers TMX Atrium community members flexible and fully scalable access to multiple markets across North America and into Eastern and Western Europe. In addition, it expanded its connectivity footprint by investing in mini-points of presence (POPs) in Paris and London. Mini-POPs allow for rapid expansion into smaller data centers to address clients' needs for simpler and more cost effective access solutions.
